Day 3 of 7 Days, 7 Cookie Recipes — Coffee Swirl Cookies
Two cookie doughs, one stunning swirl, and plenty of coffee flavour.
These cookies are for anyone who can't start the day without coffee. Swirls of coffee dough and cocoa dough create a marbled effect that's as beautiful as it is delicious, while walnuts and pecans add the perfect crunch.
What makes this work
The contrast between the coffee and cocoa dough creates layers of flavour in every bite. Keeping the swirls rustic instead of fully mixed helps maintain the distinct flavours and visual appeal.
A few things before you start
Don't overmix the two doughs together or you'll lose the marbled effect. Rough chunks and loose swirls create the best bakery-style finish.
